Please note that we have received word from security at the Huntington Continental Townhouse Association that a coyote has been seen roaming the community in the Charing Cross area. Unfortunately, we have had three cats killed by coyotes in the recent weeks.
We have contacted the Orange County Animal Control Officer to assist us with this issue and they recommend the following:
- Be aware that a coyote has been seen within the community.
- When walking your dog, you might want to carry a walking stick, a whistle, an air horn. Coyotes typically run from loud noises.
- Shorten your dog's leash, keeping them closer to you.
- If you have a cat, please keep your cat inside.
- If you see a coyote, please contact the Orange County Animal Control Officer at (714) 935-6848. They will respond.
- If you have seen a coyote within the community recently, call the Orange County Animal Control Officer at (714) 935-6848 and they will take a Sighting Report from you
- As always, be aware of your surroundings at all times.
If you should have any questions, please contact our Property Manager, Catherine Mac Alpine, at (949) 450-0202 Ext. 373.

Now that spring and daylight savings have arrived, we will all be taking advantage of the longer days and good weather. We would like to remind all homeowners and residents of the Association that any type of hardball or Frisbee are not allowed in the courtyards. Soft balls such as wiffle balls and Nerf balls are allowed as long as the parents assume the responsibility and liability for any damage and the noise does not disturb the neighbors. The Association has designated a play area next to Pool #1 (next to Clubhouse). There is a City Park available located on Magnolia. CC&R #3 & 7 (c)
